Girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 10.
Any clubs, associations, schools or community groups accredited by Suncorp NetSetGO.
Easy. Just use the Centre Finder tool to search for a local centre.
It’s different from centre to centre. Most programs run for at least eight weeks, and usually no longer than 16 weeks.
Again, cost varies depending on your Suncorp NetSetGO centre. Get in touch with your state coordinator for more info.
Apart from a spot in Suncorp NetSetGO, the registration fee covers program delivery, a participant pack and insurance through the National Risk Protection Program.
You’ll receive a Suncorp NetSetGO t-shirt in your participant pack. Just wear that, along with some shorts, a skirt and sneakers. If you’re playing outside, don’t forget a hat.
Not at all. Suncorp NetSetGO is definitely a beginner program. It’s been designed to suit every child, regardless of ability or experience.
Usually the more parents involved the better. Have a chat to your Centre Coordinator to find out how you can help.
It’s important to remember that kids aren’t just small adults. Their bodies are still developing, and we don’t want to make things too difficult at this early age. The rules and equipment have been modified to help kids play more easily (and enjoy the game).
We deliberately wait until Set to introduce modified netball games. That means kids start playing matches from around seven years-old.
There are a few differences. The netball skills get a little more challenging, the kids start learning some basic strategy, and we encourage GO participants to use higher goal posts (if they’re up to it).
